The refurbishment of Morris Hall at Anglican Grammar School (Churchie)
was long awaited by the school community. The iconic brick building
underwent a major renovation to include improved music, drama and art
facilities. The building’s classic features were carefully preserved throughout
the renovation.

The contract involved the following components:

  • Decommissioning of the existing Electrical and Communications installation
  • Underground reticulation system – conduits and pits
  • Power distribution system including upgrades to existing site main
    switchboard with new sub-mains and distribution boards
  • Cable support systems
  • Power and data requirements to suit performing arts hall, kitchen, back of
    house area and GLA’s
  • Security system
  • Automatic fire alarm system
  • Public address system
  • Emergency Lighting System installed in accordance with AS 2293
  • Dynalite lighting control system
  • Energy efficient lighting
  • External feature lighting to Quadrangle area
  • Certified Cat6 Communications System
